Bread & Butter
Bread & Butter
Bread & Butter are a Seattle band obsessed with cramming their songs full of good fun, bad fun, rad sounds, and killer moves.

True to their name, they keep it plain and simple. These songs will make you feel like cracking a beer and just forgetting about time.
Autogramm
Autogramm
Is no coincidence that maybe three Vancouver musicians the German word “Autogramm” as the name on their band chose? It begins as an idea in Berlin, Germany in 2014, when the Jiffy Marx is visiting the C.C. Voltage in the city what mayor Klaus Wowereit is calling “poor but sexy.”

No, it is not! It is a reunion of sorts. The two have no contact more for some years. C.C. is moving to Berlin and starting the punk band Dysnea Boys with members von California’s Social Unrest und after a short time in London playing with the Loyalties who have the members von the Professionals and Michael Monroe. Jiffy Marx has moved to Brooklyn, New York for many years earlier, where he is starting the band Hard Drugs und was involved among the arts community creating books and comics. When these two meet on a canal in 2014 they are drinking beer, smoking cigarettes and making fun about a future band project with the focus being only tour to sunny destinations. California and Spain are of the high priority!

But let us then take some steps behind a few years to when it all begins! Jiffy Marx and C.C. are meeting in the year 1993 as teenage skateboarders playing in the punk bands. They are moving to Vancouver in these years where C.C. is making work with Estrus and Junk Records with his garage rock group The Spitfires. He is playing for a short time with Sub Pop artists the Black Halos. Jiffy Marx attends on the art school the Emily Carr Institute of Design. While this time Jiffy Marx is becoming friends with the Silo who is playing with popular local band Jerk with a Bomb. When this band is dissolving, The Silo is joining the Black Mountain who are having a successful international music job. Same time is the Silo beginning to play with Jiffy Marx this other band what is called Blood Meridian who are signing to the V2 records and begin touring extensive together with the Black Mountain.

When Blood Meridian is being left as “free agents” after the entire V2 roster is being dropped! Jiffy Marx now is moving to Brooklyn and starts the Hard Drugs band with music luminary David Bason. These two friends are collaborating now on another recording, but this time with the producer Michael "Mama" Tudor (Moby, The Strokes, John Cale). Around same time the Silo is beginning the band the Lightning Dust with his partner Amber Webber from das Black Mountain. After he is moving back to Vancouver some years later, Jiffy Marx begins recording demos with the Silo in his studio, The Balloon Factory. The Silo parts ways with the Black Mountain and joins Destroyer, recording and producing their latest acclaimed record “Ken”.

On the Mexican holiday in February 2017, Jiffy Marx is convincing The Silo to be working on a few demos that C.C. and he are sharing, und Simsalabim! Das Autogramm is becoming born! The band only started rehearsing in April 2017 and is recording 12 songs already until July 2017! The Silo does recording, producing and drumming. The debut single and video for “Jessica Don’t Like Rock “n” Roll” is becoming released in January 2018.
